QTF Regional Program Award Level Application
The QTF Regional Program Award Level employs the full set of performance excellence criteria used at the national level for the Baldrige Award. Because of copyright issues, organizations will have to order the Award booklets from the national Baldrige office at https://www.nist.gov/baldrige/publications.
Generally, organizations that have been working with performance excellence principles and concepts for some time apply at this level. Organizations applying for the Regional Award Level can demonstrate trends in performance.
Organizations applying at the Award Level and participating in a virtual site visit are eligible to be selected as recipients of the Regional Award for Performance Excellence. The honor includes recognition as state role models for achieving sustained performance excellence at the annual QTF Regional Program Recognition and Awards Ceremony held each June.
An Award Level Applicant must send five members from its organization to current year Examiner Training and will agree that all five members will participate on a team that could include a site visit.

Organizational Return on Investment with QTF Regional Program Award Level Application
The QTF Regional Program is a viable member of the improvement efforts serving communities of excellence throughout our state. Examiner survey data have estimated that a team of 6-8 Examiner volunteers contributes 2,200 man-hours, equivalent to one full-time employee (FTE), of applied expertise during the typical Award-level application assessment and feedback processes.
The product of these processes, a Baldrige-format written Feedback Report, is valued between $300,000 – $340,000. At the QTF Regional Program Award Level application fee and the site visit reimbursables, the benefit/cost ratio is approximately $300:$1.
